Tuning Fork Therapy
Service Description
Sound therapy has been around for thousands of years in various forms and uses. While the tuning fork was invented in 1711 by British musician John Shore for tuning musical instruments, its initial use in medicine, beginning in the 16th century with crude versions, was strictly for diagnostic purposes such as assessing hearing loss and vibration sense (proprioception). However, using sound for healing and/or trance has been around since the early days of mankind. Humans began to use tuning forks for healing in the 20th century. This modern application was popularized by practitioners like Dr. John Beaulieu and Sir Peter Guy Manners, who developed specific protocols for their use in sound therapy and vibrational medicine. Tuning forks can be used to balance the bio field surrounding the body. Balance, cleanse and energize the chakras. Heal tissue and bone by restoring balance, stimulating healing, restoring DNA. There are two types of tuning forks. Weighted and unweighted. Weighted tuning forks are primarily used in direct contact with the body. Unweighted tuning forks are used most often in aligning, restoring, healing the energetic body. Unweighted tuning forks can also be used in direct contact with the body by placing the “boot” or “stem” in contact with the body. I primarily use both tuning forks in conjunction with reiki in healing body issues. I can personally attest to the power of tuning forks. In the spring of 2023, I was diagnosed with leukemia. After eleven months of chemotherapy, I was cured with no trace of leukemia in my body. However, it left me with pain in my feet, knees, and numbness in my right hand. Tuning forks have relieved the pain. I have used them on other people with similar results. I look forward to working with you.
